Physics Notes – Rubén Carrión Castro

This repository contains my personal LaTeX study notes, solved exercises, and computational projects developed throughout my Physics degree at the University of Córdoba (Spain) and during my SICUE exchange year at the University of Granada (2024–2025).

The material here reflects my academic interests in:

  • Theoretical Physics
  • General Relativity
  • Quantum Field Theory
  • Computational Physics
  • Mathematical Methods for Physics

All notes and solutions are written entirely by me. Problem statements are paraphrased to avoid copyrighted material.

These notes focus on developing conceptual understanding and mathematical derivations in theoretical physics, with emphasis on problem-solving and analytical reasoning.

Note on language

Most of these notes were originally written in Spanish as part of my undergraduate coursework and personal study.
I am currently working on gradually translating and adapting selected materials into English.

Mathematical notation and structure follow standard international conventions, so the content should remain accessible.

Each subject folder contains:

  • main.tex or modular .tex files
  • PDF notes
  • Solved exercises in subfolders
  • A dedicated README.md

🧰 Tools Used

These notes and exercises use various scientific tools:

  • LaTeX (pdflatex, latexmk)
  • Wolfram Mathematica
  • Python (NumPy, Matplotlib) — when applicable
  • GNUplot
  • Git/GitHub for version control

🎯 Purpose of This Repository

This repository serves as:

  • A structured archive of my academic work
  • A demonstration of my ability to document advanced physics topics clearly
  • A portfolio of analytical and computational skills
  • Supporting material illustrating my preparation for research-oriented work in theoretical and computational physics.
