Submitting a Bug Report

Found something that doesn't work? Help us improve by reporting it.

How to Report

1. Go to the Issues tab
2. Click New issue
3. Select the Bug report template (if available)
4. Fill in the details:
   • Title: Brief description of the bug (e.g., "Upload fails for large preset files")
   • Description: Clear explanation of what went wrong
   • Steps to reproduce: Exact steps we can follow to see the bug
   • Expected vs actual: What should happen vs what actually happens
   • Environment: Browser, device, OS, or other relevant details
   • Screenshots/logs: Images or error messages if applicable

Good Bug Reports Include

• A clear, descriptive title
• Step-by-step reproduction steps
• Expected and actual behavior
• Screenshots or error messages
• Browser/device information (optional but helpful)

Submitting a Feature Request

Have an idea to make rawbase.io better? We'd love to hear it.

How to Suggest

1. Go to the Issues tab
2. Click New issue
3. Select the Feature request template (if available)
4. Fill in the details:
   • Title: Short description of the feature (e.g., "Add bulk download for preset packs")
   • Problem: What problem does this solve? Why do you need it?
   • Proposed solution: How would you like it to work?
   • Alternatives: Any other ways this could be solved?
   • Use cases: Who would benefit and how?

Good Feature Requests Include

• Clear motivation and problem statement
• Concrete examples of how it would work
• Who would benefit from this feature
• Any relevant context or related features

Guidelines for All Submissions

• Search first: Check if your issue or feature already exists to avoid duplicates
• Be respectful: We're all working toward the same goal
• Provide context: The more details, the better we can help
• One issue per submission: Keep discussions focused
• Be constructive: Suggestions should include context about why they'd be valuable

What Happens Next

1. Triage: The team reviews and labels your issue
2. Discussion: Community and team members may ask clarifying questions
3. Planning: Bugs get prioritized; features are considered for future releases
4. Updates: You'll be notified of progress
