Formatting

We use a customized version of markdown for standard formatting.

*italic* or _italic_, **bold** or __bold__, and ~~strikethrough~~.

You can link to other profiles by using the format @screen_name.

You can also create lists:

* item 1
* item 2

Quotes:

> This is a quote from a famous person

You can escape it with prepending a \ before the *, _, or >.
