Bound previous_response_id replay to half the model context window so Codex compaction cannot rehydrate the full pre-compaction chain. Treat CONTENT_LENGTH_EXCEEDS_THRESHOLD as a deterministic invalid request across Kiro endpoints and account failover.
Trim oversized current-message tool results before falling back to current content truncation. Preserve tool pairing plus the beginning and end of each result with an explicit UTF-8-safe elision marker.
Bound Kiro history to half the model context window and trim individually oversized retained entries by bytes when the minimum recent-turn floor prevents whole-entry removal. Preserve message structure, current input, and UTF-8-safe head/tail context.
