Blocked upstream, not by our code. @astrojs/check@0.9.9 declares peer typescript@"^5.0.0 || ^6.0.0", so npm cannot resolve a tree with typescript@7:

That is the whole build-and-check failure — it dies at install, before any type checking. Forcing it with --legacy-peer-deps would only hide an unsupported combination.

Leaving this open until @astrojs/check ships a release that accepts TypeScript 7; the bump should go in together with that. Astro itself is already on 7.1.3 via #21.
