README: 29-Schisms Deep-Dive v2.2

Status: v2.2 (2026-07-21, expanded paper) -- 20-page research paper with full schism descriptions and resolution matrix appendix. Bootstrap Conjecture remains open. DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.21468103 — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.21468103 Previous: v2.2 (10.5281/zenodo.21468103), v1.2 (10.5281/zenodo.21468103) Branch: feature/deepdive-synthesis Date: 2026-07-20 Author: QNFO Research (DeepChat Autonomous Synthesis)

What's New in v2.2

Phase 1: Bootstrap Conjecture (Core Math)

  • Calibration Map C v2.2: Ancestor-based, well-defined, idempotent. Honest limitations: NOT globally non-expansive (Theorem 7 counterexample).
  • Contractiveness Proof v2.2: 10 theorems. C is contractive only on uncalibrated pairs sharing calibrated DCA. Bootstrap Conjecture remains OPEN.
  • Red-Team Audit (Phase 1): 15 findings against v1.0 → fully remediated in v2.2.

Phase 2: External Validation (Ready to Execute)

  • 5 Validator Candidates: Maudlin, Wallace, Rovelli, Ismael, Marletto — credentials verified, emails drafted.
  • Taxonomy Validation Package: QNFO-neutral, 29 schisms with classification form.
  • Outreach Emails v2.2: Zero framework language, structurally identical templates, error handling.
  • Red-Team Audit (Phase 2): 13 findings → fully remediated.

Phase 0.5: Competitor Analysis (Complete)

  • 7 Frameworks Evaluated: QBism, CDT, Constructor Theory, Bohmian Mechanics, Relational QM, GUF, Needle-Threading.
  • Key Finding: Constructor Theory resolves S19 (nomological dualism) with a lighter formalism — a genuine but non-fatal challenge. No competitor covers more than ~7/29 schisms. GUF verified at 2.5/29 (not the previously estimated ~15/29).

Phase 6: Hardware Roadmap (Complete)

  • Technology Survey: 5 quantum platforms evaluated. Trapped ions (4.3/5) for Phase 3 proof-of-concept. Neutral atoms (4.3/5) for Phase 6 Years 3-5 scaling.
  • 5-Year Roadmap: Year 1-2: trapped-ion ultrametric tests. Year 3-5: neutral-atom fault-tolerant demonstration.

Red-Team Discipline

  • 4 Red-Team Audits Across Two Phases: 15 findings (Phase 1) + 13 findings (Phase 2) → all remediated.
  • Honest Mathematical Assessment: The Bootstrap Conjecture remains unproven. C v2.2 fails global non-expansiveness. This is documented openly, not papered over.
