Summary

  • Prefer DATABASE_PATH (local SQLite) over Turso libsql:// so a CX33 cutover can keep the Turso env in place while pointing the app at a file on disk.
  • Local file: / :memory: URLs skip TURSO_AUTH_TOKEN and use the native libSQL client. Remote Turso stays on the HTTP web client where that was already required.

Cutover

Set DATABASE_PATH (or a file: URL) on the host, comment TURSO_*, restart the unit. Existing Turso env without DATABASE_PATH keeps working.

Test plan

  • With DATABASE_PATH set and TURSO_* still present, the app opens the local file.
  • Without DATABASE_PATH, existing Turso configuration still boots.

npm audit >= moderate blocked the local-sqlite PR. Pin next, faker,
vitest, undici, sharp, browserslist and fflate via overrides and lockfile.
Architecture CI runs npm ci, which rejected the audited lockfile without
this npmrc.
npm ci installs 444 packages but the lint:architecture script shells
out to eslint, which was only a peer of @typescript-eslint and never
landed in node_modules/.bin.
legacy-peer-deps left the peer of @testing-library/react out of
node_modules, so 15 component suites failed in validate with
Cannot find module @testing-library/dom.
