A live synthetic Notebook request returned a Python JSON generator and tool output, then a subsequent response quoted cell code as if it were cited evidence. Request the final JSON directly and require quotations from the matching context.evidence.text. Keep the strict complete-response parser, citation checks, source hashes and zero automatic retries. Add regressions rejecting provider code/stdout wrappers and code substituted for evidence. A real synthetic configured-provider call passed the fee-correction check; the separate public benchmark still failed provider format conformance, so this does not establish model capability or reliability.

Validation: Windows Python 3.12.14, isolated environment installed from this repository's committed requirements.lock, pip check, repository Ruff check/format and complete test suite: 186 passed in 16.13s. Relevant repository coverage gates passed.

Hosted CI is tracked separately from these local results. No workflow, billing setting, protection rule or dependency pin was changed.
