As part of our ongoing effort to preserve and share the development history of the Libertad mod, we are now releasing the unbinarized source files of Isla Nueva.
This marks the final public release of Libertad source materials and concludes our effort to make the project’s technical resources available to the community.
This archive contains several years of original terrain production work and includes:
- Full unbinarized map source files (yes, finally)
- Complete Terrain Builder project files
- Original L3DT terrain generation sources
- Full satellite, mask, and heightmap source files
- Substance Painter satmap project files
- Terrain textures, materials, and terrain configuration files
- Terrain Processor resources and vegetation distribution setups
- Object placement layers and environment-related files
- Ready-to-pack project files for those wishing to study or rebuild the terrain pipeline
⚠️ Please Note: As with previous source releases, the files are provided as-is, directly from the original production pipeline.

To preserve clarity, legality, and maintainability, this release does not include:
- Internal or external development tools, executables, or conversion utilities
- Bohemia Interactive proprietary tools (packing, conversion, terrain utilities, etc.)
- Third-party redistributables or dependencies (such as
ijl15.dll) - Certain temporary, cached, deprecated, or unrelated development leftovers
The only remaining elements kept internal are the multiplayer RPG framework/systems, the original Game Design Document, and various internal design and production documents.
This repository is shared under the Arma Public License Share Alike (ADPL-SA).
