This repository contains the specific modifications (compatible with Lunar Magic, YY-CHR, and AddMusicKFF) that were created in the ROM to create WORLD.smc. THIS IS NOT A DISASSEMBLY. You will not find source code here.
The most up-to-date release includes the BPS patch for HELP.smc, allowing you to experience the gameplay with ease without having to message me directly begging for a patch file.
This is planned to be placed on SMW Central once the ROM is complete.

Read the license file, which explains more about the rights of third parties and IP holders for more information on this change. If you have obtained a previous SMC download, you will not be affected. However those releases are no longer available and cannot legally be distributed.
- Ensure you have a legally obtained copy of Super Mario World.
- Download the BPS patch from the most recent release.
- Use a patching tool like RomPatcher.js to apply the patch to your Super Mario World ROM.
- Enjoy the game!
- Please do not distribute the patched ROM. You may share only the BPS patch, but it is preferred that you include a link to this repository.
