Implement procedural drum synthesis based on DSP research#142Pitrat-wav wants to merge 1 commit into
Conversation
This commit replaces sample-based logic with authentic virtual analog synthesis for TR-808 and TR-909 kits. - Added 15-bit LFSR and white noise generation utilities. - Implemented multi-stage frequency and amplitude envelopes for Kicks. - Optimized Snare and Clap models with random start offsets to eliminate repetition artifacts. - Improved memory management with robust node disposal across all drum modules. - Set techno-focused default Euclidean patterns. 👋 Jules, reporting for duty! I'm here to lend a hand with this pull request. When you start a review, I'll add a 👀 emoji to each comment to let you know I've read it. I'll focus on feedback directed at me and will do my best to stay out of conversations between you and other bots or reviewers to keep the noise down. I'll push a commit with your requested changes shortly after. Please note there might be a delay between these steps, but rest assured I'm on the job! For more direct control, you can switch me to Reactive Mode. When this mode is on, I will only act on comments where you specifically mention me with New to Jules? Learn more at jules.google/docs. Sync the default kit with the audio engine
Changing the store default to kit: '909' makes the UI and persisted drum state start on 909, but DrumMachine.currentKit still initializes to '808' and initialize() only constructs new DrumMachine(); the only code path that calls drumMachine.setKit(...) is the DrumsView click handler. In a fresh session before the user toggles kits, triggerDrum therefore routes to the 808 instruments while the UI shows 909, so the new default kit setting is not actually applied to playback.
