This submission implements a complete procedural drum synthesis engine for the Telegram MIDI Studio, strictly adhering to the "Programmatic Synthesis of Analog Drum Instruments" research report.

Key technical highlights:

  • VA Synthesis Engine: Replaced all sample-based logic with real-time DSP models for TR-808/909 Kick, Snare, Hi-Hats, Clap, and Cowbell.
  • Authentic Noise: Implemented a 15-bit LFSR (Linear Feedback Shift Register) generator in DrumUtils.ts to replicate the unique digital texture of the TR-909 "Snappy" component.
  • Analog Modeling: Integrated cents-based pitch drift (±1.5 cents) and random oscillator phase alignment to emulate the behavior of free-running analog hardware.
  • Non-Linear Processing: Added a hyperbolic tangent-based soft clipping curve using WaveShaperNode to provide harmonic saturation and "glue" to the drum mix.
  • Musical Randomization: Added a "Randomize" (Dice) feature in the UI that generates semi-random musical Euclidean patterns and instantly syncs them with the internal synthesis parameters.
  • Resource Efficiency: Implemented a strict 'create-and-dispose' architecture for audio nodes with early exit for silent triggers, ensuring low CPU overhead for the Telegram environment.

The implementation was verified through Playwright automation and comprehensive build checks, ensuring no regressions in the sequencer or MIDI export logic.
