Both Grizzlies vs Jazz (Grizzlies In-Arena) and (Jazz In-Arena) resolved to the Jazz through the broadcast-market path: ESPN lists the Jazz's streaming service as Jazz+, normalize_text drops the plus, and the bare jazz matched the matchup itself.

  • _detect_feed_from_broadcast_markets: a home/away broadcaster whose normalised name is one of either team's surfaces (name, short name, location, abbreviation) counts only when the stream carries the raw spelling verbatim (jazz+). Every other broadcaster keeps the fuzzy tiers.
  • Measured over the NBA, NHL, MLB and NFL scoreboards for three dates this week: 80 home/away broadcaster names, 3 equal a team surface, all Jazz+.
  • Tests: both In-Arena shapes and the plain matchup resolve nothing on this path (the name marker then takes over); jazz+ spelled out still resolves the Jazz; KJZZ-TV and DAZN MEM are unaffected.

…d verbatim (#1144)

ESPN lists the Jazz's own service as "Jazz+"; normalised to "jazz" it is
the matchup word, so the broadcast-market tier claimed both sides' In-Arena
streams of Grizzlies vs Jazz for the Jazz. A home/away broadcaster whose
normalised name is one of either team's surfaces now counts only when the
stream carries the raw spelling, mark included. Measured over 80 broadcaster
names across four leagues: 3 collide, all Jazz+.
