The final v1.2.1 matrix passed macOS 15/26 and Ubuntu 22.04, but Ubuntu 24.04 timed out waiting for the Reader route after reloading the private fixture renderer. Its failure snapshot showed the route enabled; all other gates, including installed encrypted exports, passed.

Use explicit 100ms timer polling for DOM readiness, route state and scroll-state waits in hidden/offscreen probes. This avoids relying on animation frames from hidden Chromium windows. Keep the same assertions and deadlines, and fix the search wait's misplaced options argument.

Validation: changed scripts parse and git diff --check passes. The full native matrix and Windows visual smoke will rerun on the main merge commit. No runtime feature, release asset, version or publication workflow is changed.
