Подход обеспечивает возможность универсального изменения параметров строки конфигурации. Данные для изменения параметров строки подключения могут быть взяты из разных (в том числе защищённых) источников.
В общем случае подход настройки соединения с БД в этом случае выглядит таким образом:
В файле конфигурации в открытом виде хранится строка подключения к БД.
Параметры сервера, имени пользователя, пароля передаются в строку по средствам
Для Docker-оркестратора это позволит динамически в настройках запуска контейнера
docker-compose.yamlуказывать параметры безопасности БД оставляя общую часть строки подключения в файле конфигурации приложения.
