CBM Detector Geometry (MUCH/TRD)

Personal contribution extracted from CbmSoft/cbmroot_geometry — the official geometry repository (https://git.cbm.gsi.de/CbmSoft/cbmroot_geometry) used within CBMroot, the simulation and analysis framework for the CBM experiment at FAIR/GSI, Darmstadt.

Note: this repo mirrors my individual commits/files from the main GitLab project (367+ commits, multiple contributors) for portfolio purposes — full development history lives upstream.

What this is

CBM (Compressed Baryonic Matter) is a heavy-ion physics experiment. Before any physics analysis can happen, the detector's physical geometry (materials, positions, shapes) has to be defined in ROOT's TGeoManager format so GEANT can simulate particle transport through it accurately.
