MindPlex was born from a simple but radical belief:
You should be able to have deep, multi-model AI conversations without ever trusting a third-party server with your history.

In an era where every AI chat app uploads your entire conversation to the cloud (often forever), MindPlex does the opposite:

Key Design Decisions

1. Single OpenRouter Key Architecture
   No AI1/AI2 split. No multiple provider keys. One OpenRouter key = access to Claude, Gemini, Llama, Grok, Moonshot, Cerebras, and 10+ more.

2. Local-First Continuation
   Every debate, collab, solve, or code session is saved locally.
   You can exit, close the app, come back days later — and continue exactly where you left off.

3. Privacy-by-Default Context Window

   • Default: Only the last AI response is sent with your new question
   • Explicit request ("review entire discussion") → full history sent (user-controlled)

4. Tier System Without Lock-in

   • Free: 2 fixed models
   • Pro/Business: Choose up to 4 / all 15+ models
   • 14-day full Pro trial on first key entry
   • Gumroad keys or self-generated — no Google Play billing dependency

5. No Background Phoning Home

   • NetworkSecurityConfig blocks all domains except OpenRouter
   • No Firebase, no Crashlytics, no analytics
   • No debug logs in release builds
