Mission Statement

Nitrux is an independent technology company dedicated to developing high-performance, immutable operating systems and advanced desktop solutions.

Founded in 2012, our work began by modernizing the visual landscape of the Linux desktop through extensive artwork design and icon themes. Notably, Nitrux created the original Breeze icon theme and contributed to the Breeze Plasma theme, which served as the visual identity for the KDE ecosystem for a decade.

Today, our focus has evolved from interface design to engineering complete, deterministic computing environments that prioritize technical autonomy, stability, and hardware-level optimization. Our mission is to deliver specialized, robust platforms built for advanced users, developers, and professionals who demand absolute reliability and control over their computing infrastructure.

Vision Statement

To redefine modern operating system architecture by proving that immutability, native performance, and user autonomy can coexist without compromise, transitioning our legacy of visual excellence into a new standard for precision-engineered software.
