Data model

This page introduces the product data model, the attributes and relationships around Nexperia products. There are different variants of a product defined in the product information model at Nexperia. They are the basic type, product type and sales item.

Basic Type: customer targeted specification describing and characterizing the physical dimensions (fit) and required behavior (function) of a product intended for sale excluding any packing.

Product Type: customer targeted specification that is a specialization of a basic type according to customer specific requirements on form or manufacturing.

Sales Item: item of commerce offered for sale to external parties including specific product packing (also known as orderable part number).
