Summary

Draft tracking PR for the CXL SBR reset_method fix needed for NVBug 6274048 / 6.17-next.

The actual code change from upstream commit 702c1d5 (PCI/CXL: Hide SBR from reset_methods if masked by CXL) is already present in the current 24.04_linux-nvidia-6.17-next target as commit 5ecb1af. This branch carries an empty marker commit only, so the PR can be used to track the 6.17-next request without changing the tree.

Notes

  • Base: 24.04_linux-nvidia-6.17-next @ 8e0babf
  • Existing target commit: 5ecb1af PCI/CXL: Hide SBR from reset_methods if masked by CXL
  • Local 6.17 bugfix-line commit prepared earlier: cb3baee95c0c on codex/nvbug6274048-cxl-sbr-6.17
  • Draft marker commit: 1fffd3e

Testing

Not run; no tree changes in this draft PR.

The code change from upstream commit 702c1d5 (PCI/CXL: Hide SBR from reset_methods if masked by CXL) is already present in 24.04_linux-nvidia-6.17-next as commit 5ecb1af.

Keep this draft-only marker commit so the 6.17-next review/PR handle can track the CXL SBR reset_method fix without changing the tree.

Closing this draft because it was opened as an empty tracking PR and does not address the actual 6.17-next NULL pointer dereference fix needed here.
