I like machine learning, embedded systems, and quantum computing. I believe that quantum is the way forward and will bring incredible scientific advancement to humanity. Though im currently just a high school student, my goal is to major in physics, go into the quantum computing field, and be a part of this new and groundbreaking research.
I am originally from Kharkiv, Ukraine. I moved to Japan in 2013, lived there for 3 years, than came to the US in 2016. I lived in many different US. States such as Michigan and Pennsylvania, before finally settling down in Tennessee. I am a part of my school's FRC team and the NASA Student Launch team, in which I am the lead programmer. I also participated in ORNL's NGP-Q program, which is an internship based on quantum computing. There, I got hands-on experience with High Performance Computing (HPC) and Quantum algorithms, and conducted research into QML algorithms.
During my internship at the Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility, I worked on classical and quantum machine learning algorithms and the advantages of each. During my time there, I became heavily invested in QML algorithms and how they can be utilized to create quantum neural networks that can solve problems classical AI cannot. I believe that quantum computing will propel scientific research forward, and I want to participate in making them viable and widespread.
