This is an idea to have a check box or some sort of option to take advantage of Blender's 4K to 2K resolution change for all images on the scene, it would be nice if we could select what images in a scene can be resized instead of the whole scene. For specific situations when we use depth of field or focus on only one object instead of the background, or even the size of HDRIs background images? This while leaving the main object model that can have 4K textures as well preserve all it's details.
