Disaster Education Simulators (Fire & Earthquake)
Project Origin Note: These simulators were originally developed as project submissions for major national technology and scientific competitions in Turkey, including TÜBİTAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) and TEKNOFEST (Aerospace, Technology and Technology Festival). While the projects did not receive awards in those specific competition cycles, they represent a rigorous development process aligned with technical specifications and educational standards for disaster preparedness.
Project Overview This repository contains two distinct, interactive simulation projects developed using CopperCube 6. The primary goal of these simulators is to raise awareness and provide practical, risk-free training for natural disasters and emergencies through an immersive 3D environment.
Included Simulators
1.Fire Simulator An interactive scenario focusing on fire emergencies, evacuation protocols, and correct fire extinguisher utilization.
- Key Features: Real-time fire propagation, interactive UI for tool selection, and procedural evacuation guidance.
- How to Run: Go to the
Fire-Simulator/Buildfolder and run the.exefile.
2.Earthquake Simulator A simulation designed to teach safe behaviors, structural awareness, and post-earthquake survival steps inside a building.
- Key Features: Physics-based structural shaking, "Drop, Cover, and Hold On" (Çök-Kapan-Tutun) training mechanics, and hazard identification.
- How to Run: Go to the
Earthquake-Simulator/Buildfolder and run the.exefile.
