Fixes #22

keep camera and trajectory controls interactive
reserve the inspector correctly at each layout
restore keyboard focus without trapping it
cover pointer, keyboard, and responsive regressions

Tests:

npm test (304 passed)
npm run test:e2e (18 passed)
npm run build
