How does GoofCord enhance user privacy?

  1. Blocking Tracking: GoofCord prevents network requests to all unwanted tracking URLs, including YouTube and Spotify embed tracking.
  2. Containerizing Discord: GoofCord isolates Discord, so it doesn't do unwanted or unexpected actions with your computer.
  3. Message Encryption: GoofCord can securely encrypt all your messages with end-to-end encryption, so no one except you and your recipient could see the messages.

There are also smaller things, like emulating Chrome.

Does GoofCord improve my security?

  • "Security" is a broad topic, but generally, no. Due to how GoofCord is made, it's hard to improve the security aspect. As of writing this, GoofCord doesn't do anything specific to improve your security.
