I'm a backend-leaning full-stack engineer focused on building reliable, data-intensive systems and keeping them trustworthy in production. My recent work has centered on real-time data infrastructure and high-volume streaming and ingestion pipelines processing thousands of events per second across distributed sites.
I design and own APIs and data models end to end, and I work comfortably across React and TypeScript on the front end and Node, Express, and Python on the back. I also incorporate AI-assisted development tools into my daily workflow, with careful review and testing before anything ships.
Earlier in my career I spent several years teaching full-stack engineering to hundreds of developers, an experience that continues to inform how I approach code reviews, mentorship, and clear technical communication. I'm at my best building well-engineered systems alongside a team that values getting the details right.
I'm also a rabid Raspberry Pi fanatic and can talk your ear off for hours about anything IoT.
