[Feature request] add a way to consider google maps location history #42
Description
Activity
I took a look at this, but it appears that Google is more and more restrictive and I cannot find something suitable for this use case in term of API/endpoint without manual export of all your google data (and even with this, mine were empty)
found another git with said feature, tho it does not work for me 😅

just so we know, -and I remember- there's a very nice workaround for this feature. we might add it to the documentation instead of trying to figure out a way to make it work. I'll be back here with the info... soon.

- either integrated into dawarich -which seems like a hassle-, and is not the workaround I found...
- converted into .gpx, which immich places already supports! we might add a note showing this workaround. I tested it several times with data from my phone and other devices -mine and from my family- and it works like a charm. While it is doable to convert the .json from google routes in-situ, this might be a nice placeholder.
sorry for the delay explaining it! I was on a vacation
Oh, right, the tool:

I'd love for an easy way to take my google location history and, conisdering the dates, select photos and mark them as: "yeah, this photo was taken there". This way, we could add another way to list the places on our photos.
Thanks in advance!
