MaiBot

MaiBot is a Discord.js Music Bot that is easy to self-host.

Setup

Setting up the MaiBot is very easy

Step 1

Go to https://discord.com/developers/applications and create a new Discord Application.

Step 2

Create a Discord Bot with the "Bot" button on the left

Step 3

Clone or Download this repository

Step 4

Edit the config.js file Put in your Bot Token, the prefix of your choice and the bot's activity status.

Step 5

Download and install Node.js (https://nodejs.org/) Make sure to install to PATH.

Step 6

Install your discord bot's dependencies by opening a command line (cmd, terminal etc.) and typing npm i.

Step 7

After installing the dependencies is finished, your Bot is ready! Simply type node main.js or npm start in your command line and your bot should be started.
