One of the most annoying things for lots of macOS users (especially these that use Android devices) is the lack of support for the MTP. Even though there are a few great solutions out there, mostly based on the go-mtpfs library, they often require a custom file explorer and are pretty badly integrated into the OS. And for that matter, go-mtpfs is pretty old and buggy in certain aspects.
Our objective is to modernise go-mtpfs to our standards and then build a wrapper that lets you access comfortably (even if not perfectly) your MTP devices from the Finder. We know this is pretty ambitious, but we'll try our best.
