Honest opinion: The official Cambridge IGCSE Additional Mathematics (3rd edition) textbook is, frankly, poorly structured. Whole book are missing more than 50% of the contents + no order — with skipped steps, scrambled order, and unclear explanations.
I'm also a student. I couldn't understand the coursebook either — so I used AI and my own understanding to rebuild it from scratch.
- Before this note: I found no complete, free, open‑source notes for 0606.
- What I fixed: Missing content, unclear explanations, wrong sequencing (e.g. differentiation should be placed with functions, not buried later).
- What I couldn't fix: The official textbook's fundamental logic — but I've reduced the gap to about 10% when using this note alongside it.

The original textbook is quite bad, so some sections will be continuously refined. Cloning ensures you always have the latest version.
- These are beginner’s notes written by a student, not a teacher.
- If there is a conflict between the textbook and these notes, the textbook takes precedence.

- Motivation: The official textbook is poorly written. I had to rewrite and supplement large parts of Topics 2–4 on my own. This note reflects my own understanding and might help you avoid the same frustration.
