ML Course Dashboard

A real-time, weighted monitoring system for trackings student progress and rankings based on course duration and completion.

How to Run the Project

1. Install Dependencies (only needed once):

   npm install

2. Start the Dashboard:

   npm run dev

   The dashboard will be available at http://localhost:3000.

🔗 How to Connect Your Google Sheet

To see your real students' live data on the dashboard:

1. Open your Google Sheet.
2. Go to File -> Share -> Publish to web.
3. In the dropdown, change "Entire Document" to the sheet containing the data (if needed), and change "Web page" to Comma-separated values (.csv).
4. Click Publish and copy the link.
5. Open src/app/api/progress/route.ts and paste the link in the LIVE_SHEET_CSV_URL constant on Line 9:

   const LIVE_SHEET_CSV_URL = "YOUR_COPIED_LINK_HERE";

🧪 How to Generate Test Data (Optional)

If you want to test the dashboard with fake student data for demonstration:

1. Run the seeding script:

   node seed.js

2. Clear the LIVE_SHEET_CSV_URL (set it to "") in route.ts to tell the app to use the local file instead.
