Resolver attempt 1 ( Addressing the first finding on this pull request (attempt 1 of at most 8 on this pull request; 1 attempt on this finding).
Removed the work "the-last-wish-the-bestselling-book-which-inspired-season-1-of-netflixs-the-witcher" and its position 0.1 in the "the-witcher" series. The title carries retailer marketing copy, and a title can't be rewritten without orphaning its slug, so removal was the only fix. files this pull request now changes (103) |

Resolver attempt 2 ( Addressing a new finding - it is not the one the previous attempt addressed, so this finding gets its own budget (attempt 2 of at most 8 on this pull request; 1 attempt on this finding).
Removed debora-exner from the authors list of the-endless-one-emma-hamm, so only emma-hamm is an author. files this pull request now changes (103) |

Automatic series completion for 2026-10-28.
This adds 37 new works across 15 series the catalogue already tracks, discovered from the libex mirror's new-release and coming-soon feeds (11 marketplaces polled, 7184 feed rows read).
It also attaches 300 editions to 55 existing works the catalogue already holds: see below.
No series is created by this pull request. It only fills gaps in series the catalogue already holds, which is the bounded series-completion import described in GOVERNANCE.md: this project is never a mirror of a retailer database, it imports curated tranches.
What it adds
A release date in the future is marked preorder: the recording is announced but not out yet, which is a fact the catalogue is happy to hold.
Editions attached to existing works
300 editions attached to 55 existing works. Each claims a series position the catalogue already fills, and the importer resolved it to exactly the work there - same series, position, authors and title - so it is added to that work as another recording (or another ASIN on one). No work is added for it, and the existing work is otherwise unchanged.
...and 63 more editions, not listed here to keep this description within GitHub's size limit. Every one is in the diff.
Enrichment
The same pass enriched records the catalogue already had, from the rows the selector excluded as already-present: 1 work and 39 recordings filled, 0 works placed in a series (2114 rows matched).
Chapter lists fetched this cycle: 124 attached, 0 rejected by the accuracy/runtime guard.
Other marketplaces: 367 rows came from libex's SKU groups - another store's copy of a production this cycle creates, folded into the same work so its page links every store that sells it (154 lookups). 486 rows came from searching the stores libex had not scraped yet (853 searches, matched on the same SKU group).
Region follow-up: checking 95 recordings the catalogue already holds again (recent releases and preorders still missing a store; 392 searches, matched on the same SKU group) found 1 row - another store's copy, attached to the existing recording like any other edition.
Post-release refresh
Re-read 295 recordings the catalogue holds from a preorder listing from the libex mirror (released ones 2 and 14 days after release, upcoming ones every 7 days for a moved date): 30 rows written for the enrichment, 5 rows with the released chapter list.
The enrichment refreshed 1 recording catalogued before release from a released row of its first ASIN: 1 runtime, 1 cover, 0 chapter lists and 0 release dates replaced. A preorder listing states an estimated runtime, a placeholder cover and often no chapters; the released listing of the same ASIN corrects them, so these replacements are expected, not contradictions.
It moved 11 preorder release dates to the date the current listing of the same ASIN states (a postponed or brought-forward preorder).
Import: 37 new works, 42 new recordings, 2 new people, 0 new series; 300 rows attached to existing works, 0 rows refused for a position another work holds (57 warnings).
The import itself refused 53 rows of the tranche (
missing-narrator53); they are not in this pull request (nor counted above), and are memoized with those reasons so they are not selected again.Conflicts worklist: 126 rows contradicted a recorded value and were not applied.
metaimport libex-select report
Discovery: 0 feeds resuming next cycle; 389 series queued for later cycles.
libex lookups that did not arrive (best-effort, never fatal)
