Real Solar System Visual Enhancements (RSSVE) is an add-on for the Real Solar System (RSS) mod, providing clouds and various other visual improvements.
NOTE: It is very important to install the specific versions of the required dependencies specified below, even if a new version is available, as these are known to work properly together:
- EVE Redux v1.11.7.2, from release
- Scatterer v0.0878, from release
Then download the latest version of RSSVE, from release. You'll need to choose between high resolution (HR) and low resolution (LR) when selecting a .zip file to download.
Other suggested mods that work well with RSSVE are:
- Deferred for improved and more natural lighting
- Distant Object Enhancement for making planets and satellites visible in the night sky
- Texture Replacer for replacing textures, like the skybox (Pood's Deep Star Map Skybox is highly recommended)
- Venus cloud texture by Astra-Planetshine (DeviantArt)
- Earth cloud and city lights textures by NASA Visible Earth
- Earth and Venus cloud detail textures; Earth city detail textures by Real Visual Enhancements (RVE)
