About Antobu

At this time, this project is a complete ecommerce application built with Laravel. When you run this application, you can configure a company's name, logo, primary color, secondary color, whether on the navbar you want the logo or the company logo, and more configurations in the Settings.

This comes from a personal need, first and foremost. I have had to build ecommerce platforms severally, and the process of redoing the same thing with just minimal tweaks triggered me to build this app so that I can use to quickly spin up ecommerce apps.

Now that ecommerce is up and running, I have begun adding ERP features to it. Essentially, the goal with this system is to build a full modular ERP system. (I know it will take time)

I have introduced Stocks for Products, which also introduces Inventory to the system. The Inventory module will manage all Products, Warehouses, Locations (locations exist inside Warehouses)

The following features have been implemented:

• Product Management - Manage products, including digital assets that are delivered on email. With this, you can manage an ecommerce platform for selling digital assets (such as music, arts etc) and also physical goods (stock management coming soon).

• Authentication - using Laravel Breeze.

• Cart Management - manage products in your cart.

• Checkout Management - checkout your cart to place order.

• Product Categories - manage different categories of products.

• Orders - manage and track orders made by customers.

• Company Management - Manage your companies. The company details will appear in invoices when invoicing is done. Meanwhile, company name when set appears in the navigation.

• Theme Management - Manage your website colors using theme. In the theme you can set a favicon, primary color, secondary color, title font, content font, theme status, theme name, header color (navigation), footer color. More coming soon. The favicon when set appears in the webpage favicon and in the footer.

• Newsletters - You can keep your audience coming back using Newsletters. Write a cachy article and send it to your newsletter subscibers. Coming Soon: Grouping newsletter subscibers as contacts.

• Roles - Manage user roles and permissions. By default, the user with admin role can perform all actions on all models. Other roles can be defined and assigned permissions.

• Settings - You can manage the following from the settings: Companies, Users, Theme, Slideshows, Statuses Roles.

The following features are coming soon:

• Stock Management - This will allow for effective management of physical goods.

• Purchase Management - This will allow for purchasing and replenishing products when they run out of stock.

• Stores and Locations - Locations will be inside stores. A store may have mutiple locations in it. These locations may contain physical goods.

• Pages - Managing pages through the UI. Create, edit, delete pages etc.

Getting Started

1. To get started with this, you can clone this repository or run composer create project jessyledama/antobu

2. Once the whole project has been downloaded, ensure that you have a .env file. If you do not, copy the .env.example and rename it to .env.

3. Run php artisan key:generate to generate a new key for your app.

4. You may navigate into the project and run php artisan migrate to create the database tables.

5. Run php artisan db:seed to initialise some test data.

6. Run php artisan serve to access the system on your browser.

Setting Up Your Company

Once you can access the system in the browser, log in then navigate to Settings > Company and set up company details. Here, you can configure the Name, Address, Phone, Website, Email, tax_id, Logo and Country.

Setting Up Your Theme

Navigate to Settings > Theme, to set up your theme. In the theme, you fill up the following data: Theme name, Favicon, Primary Color, Secondary Color, Title Font, Content Font, Header Color, Footer Color, Primary Button, Secondary Button and Navigation Brand. In the Navigation Brand, you choose between the Company Name and Logo as what will be displayed in the navigation.

Dashboard

You may then go to Dashboard > Products to create your products.
