Do not include sensitive PDFs or confidential data in public issues. If a sample PDF is needed, provide a minimal redacted fixture that reproduces the issue.

This project processes local PDF files and writes extracted image assets and JSON metadata to a user-selected output directory. Reports involving path handling, unsafe file writes, dependency vulnerabilities, or malformed PDF crashes are in scope.
