Getting Started

1. Clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/your-username/Smart-Healthcare-System.git
cd Smart-Healthcare-System

2. Set up the Backend

cd Hospital-Backend
npm install

Create a .env file in Hospital-Backend/:

PORT=5000
MONGO_URI=your_mongodb_connection_string
JWT_SECRET=your_jwt_secret_key
STRIPE_SECRET_KEY=your_stripe_secret_key

Create a src/config/config.env file:

PORT=5000
MONGO_URI=your_mongodb_connection_string

Start the backend:

npm run dev

3. Set up the Frontend

cd ../Hospital-Frontend
npm install

Create a .env file in Hospital-Frontend/:

VITE_BACKEND_URL=http://localhost:5000

Start the frontend:

npm run dev

The app will be available at http://localhost:5173.
