Building practical systems where artificial intelligence, business operations and public-impact technology meet.

I am a South African founder and systems architect with more than two decades of operational experience across electronics, industrial and audio-visual automation, medical diagnostics, forensic science, regulated data environments and applied artificial intelligence.
My journey has moved through four very different companies, but the discipline underneath them has remained the same: understand the real problem, connect the right components, remove unnecessary friction and build a system that people can operate under pressure.
Today, I am building JB³ and OS³, an interconnected ecosystem of practical AI products for education, multilingual communication, investigations, media intelligence, secure collaboration and enterprise automation.
I do not believe that adding an AI model automatically makes a business intelligent. Real value appears when data, workflow, governance, interfaces and human judgement are designed to work together.
Ideas may begin companies. Systems are what allow them to survive.
- Practical AI systems that solve defined operational problems
- Offline-first, multilingual technology designed for South African realities
- OS³, a connected operating layer for knowledge, workflows and intelligent tools
- Responsible automation that preserves human review where judgement matters
- Founder-led consulting across systems architecture, AI strategy and operational redesign
| Project | Purpose | Stage |
|---|---|---|
| OS³ Dashboard | A modular operating environment connecting notes, workflows, communications, calendars and AI-enabled tools | Active development |
| IsikoloAi | An education platform focused on South African curriculum access, local speech, multilingual learning and offline-first delivery | Prototype |
| VoiceGrid Ai | A multilingual voice and telephony architecture for accessible mobile communication workflows | Active development |
| JB³ InvestigatorAi | A structured workspace for transforming exported conversations, voice notes and media into searchable timelines for human review | Prototype |
| DukeBox of London | A generative music experience shaped by London underground culture, AI sound and interactive visual design | Live prototype |
| Founder Platform | My founder profile, project showcase and controlled investor-preview experience | Active development |
Before building AI products, I spent 14 years designing and programming sophisticated audio-visual environments, control rooms, executive boardrooms, automated homes and touchscreen interfaces. That work taught me that the simple experience a user sees depends on an invisible architecture working reliably behind it.
I later founded and operated businesses in human recovery, medical distribution, forensic toxicology, DNA and molecular diagnostics. At iMED Medical Group, my work included ISO-aligned laboratory infrastructure, LIMS and chain-of-custody systems, and the leadership of a 23-day PCR laboratory deployment during the COVID-19 pandemic. Those environments deepened my understanding of traceability, documentation, quality systems, regulated workflows and the consequences of technology that fails under pressure.
That combination shapes how I build software today: technical enough to understand the architecture, operational enough to understand the business and human enough to remember who the system must ultimately serve.

Several JB³ projects are being developed as accessible or public-impact technology, including multilingual education and locally relevant AI tools. Sponsorship helps fund development time, cloud infrastructure, model access, testing equipment, accessibility work and the path from working prototype to reliable public release.
- IsikoloAi curriculum, multilingual voice and offline-access development
- Infrastructure, AI-model usage and secure hosting
- Mobile, browser and cross-device testing
- Open demonstrations, technical documentation and release preparation
- Continued development of practical South African technology
Sponsorship supports development. It does not purchase equity, ownership, influence over investigative outputs or preferential access to sensitive information.
For project sponsorship, technology partnerships, equipment support or corporate collaboration, email me or book a conversation.
I work with founders, businesses and institutions that need to move from operational complexity to executable structure. Engagements may include systems diagnosis, AI opportunity mapping, workflow design, intelligent dashboards, automation architecture and prototype development.
