DataGateLinux 1.0.0 — first Linux desktop release: Google sign-in, dashboard API, OpenVPN (embedded OpenVPN 3 + DataGateOvpn3Helper).
Contents of DataGateLinux-1.0.0-linux-x86_64.tar.gz:

  • DataGateLinux — main application
  • DataGateOvpn3Helper — helper for embedded OpenVPN 3 on Linux
  • appsettings.json — ready-to-use config (production API + Google OAuth client ID)
  • appsettings.example.json — same template for reference
    Run:
    tar -xzf DataGateLinux-1.0.0-linux-x86_64.tar.gz
    cd DataGateLinux-1.0.0-linux-x86_64
    chmod +x DataGateLinux DataGateOvpn3Helper
    ./DataGateLinux
    Requires Qt 6 runtime and typical system libraries (e.g. OpenSSL) for your distro. TUN may require CAP_NET_ADMIN on the helper/openvpn binary (see README and in-app settings).
    Self-hosted API or custom OAuth: edit Api:BaseUrl and/or GoogleAuth:ClientId in appsettings.json.
