Slideshow hit testing now applies animated translation, scale, and rotation to shape click boxes and text-link rectangles. Parent group animations are included, so the new position activates the link and the abandoned position does not.
This overlaps the slideshow code touched by Playback PR.

Bug Fixes
Click targets for animated shapes and text links now follow their visible positions and sizes, including under parent animations.
Improved handling of slide transitions when navigating backward.
A press on the play/pause bar under a selected audio or video reached the
editor canvas, which started a selection marquee there; the bar hid while the
marquee was dragging, so its buttons never got the click and media only played
in the slide show. The bar's buttons and background now sense drags too, as
the GIF play button does, so the press stays on the bar.
A click on a video in the editor now also plays or pauses it (it selects it as
before; dragging still only moves it, and a modifier key leaves the click to
the selection).
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The third click of a triple click is a click too; it no longer pauses the
video the first click started. The test also follows the video when a double
click opens the Format pane and moves it on screen.

A layout's round picture placeholder keeps a slide's photo in a circle in
PowerPoint. The reader marked only p:sp placeholders as inheriting their
geometry, so a p:pic placeholder with just a frame in its spPr came out as
a rectangle (with the layout's border). Mark p:pic placeholders too; the
renderer already clips pictures to their geometry.

Format Shape's Fill section had no Slide background fill option, and
shape.fill had no parameter for it. A shape opened from a file with
useBgFill showed Automatic chosen.
shape.fill {background: true} now fills a shape with the slide
background, and Format Shape lists Slide background fill after Pattern
fill. It has no Color button or Transparency slider. Saving writes
useBgFill, and the slide background shows through the shape.

shape.fill {background: true} leaves the fill of pictures, connectors,
tables and charts unchanged. Only a shape or text box (p:sp) saves
useBgFill in a .pptx. With a group selected, its shapes and text boxes
take the fill and the group's own fill is cleared. When no selected
object can take the fill, the command returns an error.
The Format pane leaves Slide background fill out of a picture's Fill
options, and shows it chosen for a group whose shapes and text boxes
all have it.
When a group's shapes take the slide background fill, the group's own
fill stays when a picture, connector, table or chart in it is filled
with the group fill (grpFill), so that member draws as before.
PowerPoint stores an arrow typed in a Wingdings run as U+F0E0 with
<a:sym typeface="Wingdings"/> on the whole run, and draws only the
symbol code in Wingdings: the space after it is the run's own font. A
synthetic deck with "→ Only …" (U+F0E0, a space, words) in one run with
a:sym, and the same with a:sym on the arrow's run alone, exported as
PDF, draws both lines alike. DeckCraft kept the space in the arrow's
face, since spaces, digits and punctuation stay in the face of the text
before them, and Wingdings' space is about four times a text font's: the
words started 20 pt further right.
A neutral character no longer stays in a symbol font's face
(is_symbol_font); it takes the run's font like any other.

Dragging one of several selected slides in the thumbnail pane or the
Slide Sorter moved only the dragged slide. Now the whole selection moves
as one run in deck order, in one undo step, stays selected and joins the
section it lands in; an unselected slide still moves alone.
- slide.move takes `ids` (checked against the deck while parsed, repeats
fold), alongside the unchanged `{from, to}`.
- The slide drag records its slides and the presentation it began in; a
drag in another presentation, or one whose release no view saw (a
Sorter double-click opening Normal view mid-gesture), is dropped
instead of moving slides on a later release.
- Normal-view thumbnails carry a "Slide N" label, like Sorter cells.

PowerPoint writes autoRev on p:cBhvr/p:cTn, not the effect node, so Grow/Shrink with auto-reverse grew and held. Color Pulse writes it there as part of the effect and is left out. …not a dot (storytold#1347)
A buFont named like Noto Sans Symbols was treated as a legacy symbol font, so its
bullet characters mapped to a generic dot. Only Wingdings and Symbol map by code now;
the bullet's own face is chosen by the usual cascade instead of a fixed Inter fallback.
… Size & Properties
Scale is measured from the size the tab first showed, like the Size and Position
dialog, and runs shape.sizePosition (honouring Lock aspect ratio). From switches
Horizontal/Vertical between the top-left corner and the centre. The lock checkbox
used a fresh id every frame so it never held; it now keeps its state.
…ly names
Documents name non-RIBBI weights by their Windows family ("Montserrat ExtraBold" / Regular).
The bundled Montserrat is variable, so its instances had no Windows names; the installed static
files that do carry them were skipped as already present, and the lookup fell back to Inter
Regular without reporting the font missing. Each named instance other than Regular, Italic,
Bold and Bold Italic now also answers to "<family> <weight>" with a Regular or Italic style,
as Windows lists them.

has no place for it; off by default, Reading View unchanged.

…y screen (storytold#1165)
An ellipse at the EMU limit, compounding group scales or custom-geometry
guides could reach vello's flattener with an outline billions of pixels
long; it sizes its buffer by that length and the allocation aborts the
process. geometry::drawable() rejects a shape with a non-finite path
point, then measures the outline's control box (which always holds the
curve, unlike the tight bounding box when its extremum overflows) unioned
with the frame; past 1e7 device pixels the shape is skipped with a warning.
Rebased onto the render module split: the guard now lives in geometry.rs
and renderer.rs.

Compose animation outside the static shape transform.
A statically rotated shape can receive incorrect hit bounds with non-uniform animation scale. For a 100×50 shape at (100, 100) rotated 90°, PlacedShape.rect is [125, 175] × [75, 175]. With scale_x = 2 and scale_y = 1, rendering produces bounds [125, 175] × [25, 225], but hit_point accepts (190, 125) and rejects (150, 200). The hit target therefore differs from the rendered shape.
ShapeState defines animation in slide space. Compose around outside x.affine() so rendering and hit testing use the same frame.
Suggested fix
- let c = Point::new(x.w / 2.0, x.h / 2.0);+ let c = Point::new(x.x + x.w / 2.0, x.y + x.h / 2.0);
let around = Affine::translate(c.to_vec2())
* Affine::rotate(st.rotate.to_radians())
* Affine::scale_non_uniform(st.scale.0, st.scale.1)
* Affine::translate(-c.to_vec2());
- m = parent * Affine::translate(st.offset) * x.affine() * around;+ m = parent * Affine::translate(st.offset) * around * x.affine();

Preserve non-media PictureFill changes.
shape_details compares picture media content only. It then removes fill and replaces both ShapeKind::Picture values with ShapeKind::Shape. Changes to crop, mode, alpha, adjust, upright, or artistic can therefore be omitted from review.revisions. When upper is true, push uppercases each candidate (line 414) before suggestible runs (line 415). suggestible then looks up the uppercase form by exact key (line 394). Dictionary keys keep their source casing (line 227), so a NOSUGGEST entry such as slide is not found for SLIDE. The NOSUGGEST clause passes, and the uppercase candidate is offered.
Check the lowercase and capitalised entries for all-caps candidates in suggestible. Apply this change at lines 393-395, outside the selected lines:
The all_caps condition limits the extra lookups to all-caps candidates. Lowercase and capitalised candidates keep the exact-key check only. The KEEPCASE case (NASA) still works: its exact entry is not NOSUGGEST, and the lowercase and capitalised lookups find no blocking entry.
Add a test with a NOSUGGEST entry and an all-caps near-miss of that word.

Serialize Chart::y_hidden on rebuilt charts.
When an imported chart is edited and rebuilt, axes writes c:delete=0 and c:tickLblPos="nextTo" instead of the Chart::y_hidden state created by tickLblPos="none". Saving and reopening that chart restores the value-axis labels.
