Download Quran full mushaf audio for a reciter from mp3quran.net

Description

This Python script allows you to download the full mushaf audio for a reciter from the website mp3quran.net. The script takes a base URL for the first surah's audio file and a destination directory as input, then it iterates through all 114 surahs, constructs the appropriate URLs for each surah, and downloads the audio files, saving them in the specified directory with filenames in the format "001.mp3", "002.mp3", ..., "114.mp3".

Usage

1. Make sure you have Python installed on your system.
2. Install the requests library if you haven't already by running pip install requests.
3. Run the script and provide the required inputs:
   • Enter the download URL for the first surah (e.g., https://server8.mp3quran.net/reciter/001.mp3).
   • Enter the destination directory where you want to save the downloaded audio files.
4. The script will download each surah audio file and save it in the specified directory, printing a success message for each downloaded file or an error message if the download fails.

Note

• Ensure that the base URL you provide is correct and follows the format shown in the example, as the script relies on replacing "001" with the appropriate surah number to construct the URLs for all surahs.
• The script creates the destination directory if it does not already exist, so you can specify any valid directory path for saving the audio files.
