Otaku is a powerful anime streaming addon for Kodi, designed for anime enthusiasts. It allows you to stream anime from various sources.

You can configure your content, playback, and sorting by going to the addon settings or you can go to the tools menu and go to the choose sorting menu where we have presets for sub and dub users.
You can configure your watchlists by going to the addon settings and selecting the watchlist service you want to use (AniList, MyAnimeList, Kitsu, Simkl).
You can enable or disable providers in the addon settings under the Providers section.
Ensure that your internet connection is stable and that the providers are enabled in the settings. You can also try clearing the cache or reinstalling the addon.
Check your Kodi video settings and ensure they are set to the default settings. You can also try reinstalling InputStream Adaptive.
Reinstall your InputStream Adaptive and ensure that you have Ipv6 disabled on your device or router. You can also try unplugging your router or device and plug it back in.
You can enable automatic subtitles for dubbed streams in the Playback settings of the addon.
Reauthorize your watchlist accounts in the addon settings and ensure that the watchlist update settings are configured correctly.

Yes, Otaku is 100% free and open-source. It does not host or distribute any content, only scrapes publicly available sources.
