A local-first Windows assistant that curates AI news and prepares content for personal WeChat Moments, WeCom Customer Moments, and WeChat Official Accounts.
Every external publishing action requires human confirmation. The application does not log in to, automate, or control personal WeChat, and it never publishes Official Account articles automatically.
- Collects articles from a fixed allowlist of RSS feeds and websites, plus manually submitted URLs.
- Normalizes URLs and deduplicates content using URLs and fingerprints.
- Scores each article for both general and technical audiences.
- Uses an OpenAI-compatible API when configured, with a local heuristic fallback.
- Stores API keys and WeCom secrets in Windows Credential Manager instead of SQLite.
- Produces general-audience and technical sharing copy, with copy buttons and mobile QR codes.
- Can schedule scans at 09:00 and 18:00 through Windows Task Scheduler.
- Creates WeCom Customer Moments tasks only after explicit confirmation and prevents duplicate submissions.
- Generates multi-source Official Account drafts from 2–5 articles and exports Markdown, HTML, and an SVG cover placeholder.
- Runs on
127.0.0.1and keeps articles, drafts, and delivery history in a local SQLite database.
- Personal WeChat Moments are always shared manually by the user.
- WeCom publishing requires an explicit checkbox confirmation and a bounded sender scope.
- Official Account content is exported for review and manual publication.
- AI-generated drafts retain verifiable source links and still require editorial fact-checking.
- Failed WeCom requests are recorded but never retried automatically.
Requirements: Windows 10/11 and Python 3.11 or newer.
python -m pip install -r requirements.txt
python app.py init
python app.py scan --max-items 2
python app.py serveOpen http://127.0.0.1:8765/. Running python app.py without arguments also starts the local page.
Add an article manually:
python app.py add-url "https://example.com/article"Configure an OpenAI-compatible API from the local page, or from the command line:
python app.py set-ai --base-url "https://provider.example/v1" --model "model-name"The application remains usable without an AI API, but it will produce heuristic scores and editing outlines instead of complete AI-written drafts.
- Obtain the enterprise CorpID and the Customer Contact secret, or use a custom application secret with the required permission.
- Save the credentials and test authentication from the local page.
- On a candidate article, provide at least one sender userid or department ID. Customer tag IDs are optional.
- Choose the general or technical version, check the confirmation box, and create the task.
- Enterprise members still confirm publication inside WeCom.
API references: Get access token and Create a Customer Moments task.
Select 2–5 candidates from at least two distinct sources, then generate a general or technical draft. The editor provides a safe local preview and exports:
- Markdown
- Standalone HTML
- SVG cover placeholder
Source URLs are appended by the application rather than invented by the model. The tool does not access the Official Account admin console.
python -m pip install -r requirements-build.txt
powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File .\build.ps1The executable is written to dist\WechatAutoShare.exe, and the build script prints its SHA-256 hash. The current development build is unsigned, so Windows SmartScreen may display an unknown-publisher warning. Sign public release binaries with your organization's code-signing certificate.
The portable build has been smoke-tested on Windows 11. A clean Windows 10 environment has not yet been verified.
Application data is stored in %LOCALAPPDATA%\WechatAutoShare\. Deleting the portable executable does not remove that directory or entries stored in Windows Credential Manager.
python -m unittest -vTests use temporary data directories and mocked external publishing responses.
