Hi there, I'm Gabriel Vian! 👋

I am a PhD student in Physics at the Institute of Theoretical Physics-UNESP, transitioning from high-energy particle physics (CMS-CERN) to the study of complex systems and spatial epidemiology.

My current research focuses on how urban connectivity, climate, and socio-environmental factors shape the spread of infectious diseases like dengue.

  • Spatial Epidemiology: Building Bayesian hierarchical spatiotemporal models.
  • Tools of work: R-INLA, DLNM, and Geospatial data analysis.
