When launching the cli version, you will receive an initial prompt like this: 
To pick one of the four current tools, the dnd character creator that allows you to customize a character creation, the dnd monster stats tool that lets you find a specific monster or a list of monsters, the dnd monster spell tool that lets you find a specific spell or a list of spells, and the classic traveller creator that allows you to go through the classic traveller character creation.
To give you an idea of what the first tool looks like here's a screenshot of the beginning of the process:
The home page looks like this (my apologies for the eye burn, I picked a random colour and have yet to change the css):
This page shares the ugly css from the main page.
The Classic Traveller pages have their own css (and are thus, less of a pain to the eye).
