Setup

1. Clone the repository
2. Install dependencies:

npm install

3. Create a .env file in the root directory with your Firebase configuration:

VITE_FIREBASE_API_KEY=your_api_key
VITE_FIREBASE_AUTH_DOMAIN=your_auth_domain
VITE_FIREBASE_PROJECT_ID=your_project_id
VITE_FIREBASE_STORAGE_BUCKET=your_storage_bucket
VITE_FIREBASE_MESSAGING_SENDER_ID=your_messaging_sender_id
VITE_FIREBASE_APP_ID=your_app_id
VITE_FIREBASE_MEASUREMENT_ID=your_measurement_id

4. Start the development server:

npm run dev

Scripts

• npm run dev - Start development server
• npm run build - Build for production
• npm run preview - Preview production build
• npm run clearFirestore - Clear Firestore collections (development only)

Security

This project has been assessed for CVE-2025-55182 (React2shell RCE vulnerability) and is NOT VULNERABLE. See SECURITY_ASSESSMENT_CVE-2025-55182.md for details.

The project uses React 18.x, which does not include the vulnerable React Server Components feature. For security recommendations and future upgrade guidance, please refer to the security assessment document.
