Summary

• Notifications: swipe a row right to save its video to Watch Later, with Undo. Long-press opens the video menu. Saving keeps the channel and length Flow already knew.
• Music: the Audio Settings sheet uses the shared speed slider, so speed goes up to 4x. Speed and pitch save once on release.
• Music: new switch "Resume podcasts and long tracks" (Settings › Playback, off by default). Tracks of 10 minutes or more start where they stopped when tapped.
• Volume: videos and Shorts are turned down to YouTube's loudness level ("Normalize volume", on by default). Stable Voice and its fixed +6 dB boost are removed.
• Playback settings show the equalizer state. Auto picture-in-picture is on by default.
• Refactors: the Shorts player pool is split into factory, slot state and media sources; the music seek guard and play-start storage moved out of MusicPlayerViewModel; one LoudnessGain serves music, video and Shorts.

Risk and compatibility

• New preference keys: music_resume_long_tracks (default off) and video_volume_normalization (default on). The stable_volume_enabled key is no longer read.

• auto_pip_enabled now defaults to on for anyone who never changed it.

• Video and Shorts volume is lowered by YouTube's loudness value; streams without one play unchanged, and normalization never boosts.

• Watch Later saves now use the fill-only mergeMetadata, so a save with blank fields no longer erases stored channel or length.

• No Room schema change.

• The change does not introduce secrets, private data, or unexpected telemetry.

• New user-facing text uses Android string resources.

• Dependency and lockfile changes are intentional and limited to this PR.

• Room schema changes include the required version bump and migration, or this PR does not change the Room schema.

• Breaking changes and upgrade steps are clearly documented.
