Summary

Part 6 of 22 of the music player plan (Android parity). Stacked on fix/music-player-contrast (PR #182); review and merge in order.

  • A port of Android's EQ model, maths, presets and AutoEQ format (src/lib/audio/eq/), with Android's tests.
  • Graphic and parametric modes, a response graph you can drag, per-band type, frequency, gain and Q, hold to compare, auto or manual preamp, bass boost.
  • Android's 13 presets, your own presets (save, save as, rename, duplicate, delete with undo), and a Custom entry that keeps your curve. AutoEQ and EqualizerAPO import from a file or paste with a preview, and export.
  • One setting eq_state_json in Android's schema, in backups and synced with Android through the equalizer key. Old desktop gains move once onto Android's 10 peaking bands.
  • The graph is only built once the EQ changes the sound, and the audio context resumes after sleep or an output change.

  • cargo test --manifest-path src-tauri/Cargo.toml --all-targets --all-features: 783 passed, 0 failed (all sync_* suites included)
  • I smoke-tested the affected desktop behavior. macOS, combined build: Bass Boost applied, editor opened (screenshot), audio context running.
  • OS/device: device testing by the owner. The checks above ran on macOS 27 (Apple Silicon MacBook Pro, 120 Hz) in a dev build of the whole stack; Windows and Linux were not run.
