🌊 Water Physics

An interactive 3D water simulation built with Three.js – ripple the surface or throw stones into a virtual pool, right in your browser.

✨ Features

  • Ripple Mode – hover your mouse over the water to create soothing real‑time ripples
  • Stone Throwing – click anywhere on the water to hurl a stone; watch it arc, splash, and sink
  • Real‑time wave propagation with damping and multi‑step physics
  • Splash particles, floating objects, and underwater drag for stones
  • Orbit controls – rotate, zoom, and pan around the scene
  • Stylized pool with grass surroundings and dynamic lighting

🚀 Try It

  1. Clone the repo or download the Water.html file
  2. Open Water.html in a modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox)
  3. No build steps, no dependencies – everything loads from CDN!

🎮 How to Use

  • Ripple Mode – just move your cursor over the water surface
  • Stone Mode – click the 🪨 Throw Stone button, then click on the water to toss a stone
  • Drag with mouse/trackpad to orbit the camera, scroll to zoom

🛠 Tech Stack

  • Three.js (ES modules via import map)
  • Vanilla JavaScript, no frameworks
  • MeshPhysicalMaterial for water transparency & caustics
  • Custom wave simulation on a high‑res vertex grid
