Conversation
docs/standards-parity.md now cites the 2024 clause of every requirement, from the table of contents of the free SIST EN 1838:2025 preview (kept in plan/, never committed). The preview ends inside clause 3, so the values stay unverified (gap 4). It also shows what 2024 added, now rows and parity entries: specific areas (5.4), safety signs (6), local area lighting (7.1), standby lighting (7.2, out of scope) and the annexes. What this changes
docs/standards-parity.mdnow cites the 2024 clause of every EN 1838 requirement. The clause numbers come from the table of contents of the free SIST EN 1838:2025 preview that SIST and iTeh publish. The preview is kept in the git-ignoredplan/standards/; nothing from it is committed. The preview ends inside clause 3 (terms and definitions), so it contains no requirement values. Every value stays "unverified" and gap 4 stays open; the gap row now says the clause numbers are verified and the values are not.
The preview does show what the 2024 edition added. These are now rows in the parity table and, where luxpath will check them, parity entries:
