frontend(feat): suggest a healthier profile and add a global shortcut - #98
Healthier profile on a low row. When a profile's tightest window is low, its row names a healthier profile in place of the reset countdown, for example 5h limit low · personal has 70%. It reuses the low-quota notifications' rule: a reading under 15 minutes old, at least 50% of the same window left, and no low window of its own. The tooltip, VoiceOver label and ⋯ menu keep the reset time. The row only suggests; it never switches profiles.
Keyboard shortcut ⌃⌥⌘P. An opt-in gear-menu toggle opens or closes the menu from any app.
It uses the Carbon hot-key API, so there's no Accessibility or Input Monitoring prompt.
It's off by default because a global shortcut takes the same keys from every app. ⌥⌘P was avoided because it's Finder's Show Path Bar.
If another app already holds the keys, the toggle stays off and says so. A shortcut taken since the last launch is turned off at launch, so the menu never shows one that does nothing.
Testing
make check passes, including ShellCheck and the native unit, interaction and preview suites.
New checks cover:
the row summary with a suggestion, and the per-profile suggestion helper;
a live low row showing the suggestion while its tooltip keeps the reset time, with no launch or switch;
the toggle starting off, refusing held keys with a message, persisting, and releasing;
a real registration that refuses the same keys while held and registers again once released.
Not verified: pressing ⌃⌥⌘P from another app in a real session. It needs a manual check.
Scope and compatibility
Affected scope: the macOS menu-bar companion only. CLI, app default and named Desktop launches are unchanged.
Low-quota profile rows can suggest another profile with at least 50% of its quota remaining in the same window. The suggestion does not switch or launch profiles; reset details remain available in the tooltip and menu.
Optionally enable ⌃⌥⌘P in the gear menu to open the menu from any app. The shortcut is off by default, follows the current keyboard layout, requires no Accessibility permission, and stays off if unavailable or already in use.
- A low profile row names a healthier profile in place of the reset
countdown, such as "5h limit low · personal has 70%". It reuses the
notifications' headroom rule: a fresh reading with at least half of the
same window left and no low window of its own. The tooltip,
accessibility label and actions menu keep the reset time, and the row
only suggests; it never switches profiles.
- An opt-in "Keyboard shortcut ⌃⌥⌘P" in the gear menu opens or closes the
menu from any app. It uses the Carbon hot-key API, so it needs no
Accessibility or Input Monitoring permission. It is off by default
because a global shortcut overrides the same keys in every app; keys
another app holds are refused with a message, and a shortcut taken
since the last launch is turned off at launch.
Tests cover the row summary, the per-profile suggestion, the live row,
the toggle's refusal and persistence, and a real registration that
refuses held keys and re-registers once released. Docs, the changelog
and previews are updated.

Walkthrough
This change adds quota-headroom suggestions to profile rows and a default-off global keyboard shortcut for opening the macOS menu. Row suggestions do not switch profiles. Shortcut registration conflicts are reported, and a saved enabled preference is turned off at launch if registration fails.
A low-quota row can show a qualifying profile’s remaining percentage instead of the reset countdown. The suggestion does not switch profiles. Tooltips and accessibility text retain reset-time details. Tests cover the suggestion and summary behavior.

Settings adds a default-off Control-Option-Command-P shortcut. The app registers or releases the shortcut through Carbon APIs. If registration is refused, the setting remains off and the menu reports a conflict. At launch, a saved enabled setting is reset if registration fails.

Explanation
The title names two changes that the changeset actually contains: a suggestion of a healthier profile for low-quota rows (QuotaHeadroom suggestion, WorkspaceMenuView and AccountUsage updates) and an opt-in global shortcut ⌃⌥⌘P (GlobalShortcut.swift, AppDelegate wiring, settings toggle). Both are present in the changeset, so the title is related to the main change. It is a single, concise sentence and avoids vague terms. The 'frontend(feat):' prefix is a conventional-commit style scope that is somewhat unusual for a macOS menu-bar change, but it does not make the title misleading.

- Line 29: Replace MainActor.assumeIsolated in the shortcut callback with
dispatch that schedules shortcut.action() on the main actor, keeping the
GlobalShortcut source compatible with the macOS 13 deployment target.
- Line 13: Update the shortcut represented by `keyCode` so it resolves the P
character for the active keyboard layout rather than assuming the ANSI P key
position; ensure the displayed shortcut and documentation match the key that
will activate it.

The global shortcut registered QWERTY's P position, so on Dvorak it sat
on L. It now registers whichever key types P with Command held in the
current layout, falling back to the ASCII-capable layout and then to the
QWERTY position, and moves when the layout changes. Dvorak and Colemak
use their own P; "Dvorak – QWERTY ⌘" keeps QWERTY's.
The hot-key callback reached the main actor through
MainActor.assumeIsolated, which Swift 5.9 offers only from macOS 14, so
a macOS 13 build with Xcode 15.2 failed. It now hops with a main-actor
task.
